Cake nearly ruined my life.

My relationship with sugar was beyond detrimental.  I craved it and ate it almost every day. Some days I feasted on sugar for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  I knew it wasn’t normal, but neither was my intense craving and I had no idea how to stop it.

In today’s Belly Breakthrough Q+A, a reader wants to know how she can “control” her sweet tooth so that she can finally lose weight.  You may be surprised to learn why I tell her that “controlling her sweet tooth” is the least of her worries.

Sugar is not what is sabotaging her weight loss.

In the comments below, please share what your #1 cravings are and how you deal with them.

You look in the mirror and you’re simply reminded that you’re not happy with what you see.  You and food have a less than desirable relationship and you wish that those negative feelings would just go away.

Whether you’ve been plagued with body hate for a long time or it is a relatively new feeling, it sucks all around.  While it’s not the easiest shift to make to a place of love and acceptance, it’s definitely a worthwhile one.

In this week’s Belly Breakthrough Q+A, I use Frida Kahlo’s story to help our reader use emotional wellness tools to dig the skin she’s in.  She hasn’t been feeling her body for a long time due to a medical condition that makes it a challenge for her to lose weight.

Check out the video below and learn

  • how Frida Kahlo’s relationship with her body can help you dig yours!
  • the top emotions that plague your body and affect the way it appears
  • 4 questions to ask yourself now that will help you embody yourself

In the comments below,

Share with the Eat Relate Love community how you give your body an extra boost of TLC on those days when you look at yourself and have to “search hard” to dig what you see.
