I Eat Raw Burgers…Yep Uncooked!
You all know I have an affinity for burgers….like big juicy, extra cheese havin’, sauteed onion lovin, grilled bun needin type fiendin’ burgers. What I don‘t have an affinity for is the bloated and gasey feeling that follows. Nor the pimples that pop up a few days after! Dayumm burgers why must you be so tasty….
You also know that I practice a technique called Mindful Eating, which includes being very present and attentive while consuming your meals. That means no tv, no e-mails, no random distraction just the pure enjoyment and love that food brings the body. Part of Mindful Eating is being true to what your body is asking for….
And dammit! My body has been asking for cheese and meat in the worse way. Since I’m a self-proclaimed Flexitarian, I usually allow, but for the month of February I decided to embrace a high percentage Live Foods lifestyle and Bikram Yoga to bring about some much needed energy for the upcoming Spring Equinox and the unfolding of my manifestations
But this thing was incessant…this craving, this desire…I sat with it and it wasn’t based in any emotion nor any deep longing for healing…nope….My body just craved it…perhaps it was protein.
So we settled on this
Don’t worry, I know it says raw but this burger is made from 100% seeds, nuts and veggies!
